CO2 remover
Name: Carbon Dioxide Remover Description: This equipment is used to dry and remove free carbon dioxide from water, reducing the corrosion of free CO2
Product details

overview
This device uses dry removal to remove free carbon dioxide from water and reduce free CO2Corrosion of boiler water removal system, condensate system, and boiler water vapor system, reducing the load on anion exchangers, improving the economic efficiency and effluent quality of chemical desalination processes. The carbon remover consists of a water distribution device, a multi-faceted hollow ball, a fan, and a water storage tank, and its principle is the traditional mechanical degassing process. Because the carbon dioxide content in the air is very low, when the air flow blown into the carbon removal device comes into contact with the carbon removal water phase, carbon dioxide in the water will precipitate and be carried away by the air flow. Generally, water inlet H2CO3When the content is ≥ 50mg/L, a carbon remover is installed to remove CO from the effluent2Content<5mg/L, usually set after cation exchanger or reverse osmosis device. The carbon remover is also used for indoor aeration before iron and manganese filters.

Working principle
Free carbon dioxide in water is removed by blowing air for degassing. The water is introduced from the upper part of the equipment, flows through the surface of the packing layer through the spray device, and the air enters from the lower air outlet and passes through the packing layer in the opposite direction. Free carbon dioxide in water quickly decomposes into the air and is discharged from the top. In water treatment processes, it is generally installed after cation exchangers and reverse osmosis equipment. Under normal preparation conditions, the residual carbon dioxide in the water does not exceed 5mg/L after being degassed by a carbon remover.
